Unisex Long Sleeve Rash Guards by Solaroo. long sleeve rash guards by Solaroo have become the requested sun and surf shirt because of its style and sun protection, blocking 98% of UV rays. Born out of the surf industry and meant to fit surfers tight like a layer of skin, now Solaroo's are being worn as t-shirts in the water, more like a t-shirt fit. We have adjusted sizes to reflect how they are worn today, like a swim shirt/t-shirt. Note that the size listed is the actual size you wear, and the size in parenthesis is what the tag will read when you receive the product. If you want an extremely tight fit (surfer/diver) then drop down a size or two.All colors by Solaroo are 98% uv blocking (UPF50)except white, which is UPF 30.
Downside- forms nasty airpockets, slows you down when swimming, feels heavy.

Sun Friendly Products is difficult to work with
I received the product I ordered in a timely manner, however, it was too small. I followed the directions for exchanges and almost four weeks after Sun Friendly Products received my return, four phone calls by me (they NEVER called me, even when I left a message and their customer service representative told me on more than one occasion that she would call me "right back") and five e-mails later, it was determined that they are unable to provide the color and size I requested for the exchange, so I received a refund for the product, minus shipping. During this time, I was repeatedly told a new shipment was arriving "any day" but looking back, I don't think they had any idea when their shipment was arriving and it was an excuse to string me along. The product probably would have been fine, but I could have saved a lot of time and money by purchasing from another company, which is what I finally did. 2008-07-17

The staff at Sun Protection was extremely helpful and courteous. The swim shirt is perfect - I wear it every time I swim. The shirt allows me to swim even during the 10-2 hours when UV is the greatest threat. My dermatologist heartily approves. Thanks 2008-07-12
