Editorial Review:
Projects a starry night sky on bedroom ceiling and walls. Stars shine in three colors options: Ruby Red, Sapphire Blue and Emerald Green. Shell illuminates for comforting nightlight effect.Helps ease fear of the dark and allowing children to sleep easier.A perfect sleep companion for children of all ages.Includes 45 minutes sleep timer. Star Guide helps identify 7 constellations embedded in star pattern. Includes 3 AAA batteries. 5"H x 14"W. Ages 2 years and up.

The only issue is that they fight over it, so we're buying the new "Sea Turtle" version (not yet available on Amazon as of July 24, 2008) for my 2-year-old at a local store this weekend.

The only problem we have with it (which really isn't a problem for a 3 year old) is that it must be centered in the room and fairly close to the ceiling to actually see the stars perfectly on the ceiling. The only thing we have tall enough is the hutch on the dresser and it is to the side of the room so it gets cramed over there. When she takes it to bed, it sprawls the stars largely all over the walls, etc. Not a big deal, but does take away from the "celestial learning".

Cloud b Twilight Lady Bug
Since the baby is sleeping in our room we set it up and fall asleep to a constellation of stars. It has three seperate color settings, red, blue and green. We usually leave on blue and most nights I am fast asleep before the timer turns off the light. It's battery opperated and would you believe they batteries come with? I know unheard of it today's world but true. We were so impress we bought two more for our nieces. they are going to love them.. 2008-08-04

My son willingly gave up his nightlight for this!
My two sons, ages 4 & 2, love this ladybug! My goal was to give my 4-year-old son a way to control a nightlight so it wasn't on ALL night. He took one look at this ladybug and handed over his precious nightlight immediately. We have a vaulted attic ceiling in an old Cape, and the stars look just fine on his walls and ceiling. The blue shows best, followed by green and then red.
The only issue is that they fight over it, so we're buying the new "Sea Turtle" version (not yet available on Amazon as of July 24, 2008) for my 2-year-old at a local store this weekend.

Love The Lady Bug!
I bought this for my 3 yr. old daughter and it was a hit! When it first arrived, it was during the day and not dark enough to see the stars. We took it into our bathroom and spent half the day in there looking at the stars! I recommend this to any one with little ones, and especially if they love the moon and stars. It would really help babies and toddlers who are having sleep issues. They could learn to enjoy bedtime w/ this product. 2008-07-19

Love this!
My 2 year old loves this light up ladybug. We used it as an addition to her "big girl" room and she thinks it's great. My husband wonders why we don't have one in our room too! The red light really doesn't project stars on the ceiling, but is good as a night light. The blue and green stars show up really well in her room. I think this was a great purchase and well worth the money! 2008-07-19

Great bedtime friend
We and our daughter love this. She actually takes it to bed with her, it is super soft like a stuft animal with the hard shell on top and she just loves to take it to bed and push all the buttons and change the colors.
