Although this is a 30 SPF sunblock, the fact that you apply it with a bar will lead you to think your child has been protected as well as with a normal lotion. We've found that it's not enough so you need to apply through trial and error to obtain the same protection. Other than that, it's quite practical.

We love this at my house. It can be carried in a purse or backpack every day with no spilling, so you never find yourself with kids outside and no sunblock. People always ask me where I find it. It goes on more smoothly than other stick based blocks I have tried, and the size is convenient.
