Pediatricians recommend swaddling to comfort and soothe newborns. But swaddling with loose blankets is difficult to keep snug. Swaddle Me ? micro-fleece wings have Velcro tabs, to wrap up your newborn. As baby grows, wings readjust for a perfect fit. Swaddle Me? wings are easily opened to prevent overheating, and the leg pouch can be opened for quick diaper checking or changing. Swaddle Me? helps soothe the fussiest babies. Recommended to calm babies, including those with colic. Small fits 7 to 14 lbs. in colors Blue, Pink, Blue Cocoa Dot, Pink Cocoa Dot, Circle Bear or Yellow Cotton. Large fits 15 to 22 lbs. in Cocoa Blue Dot, Cocoa Blue Dot, Green Cocoa Dot or Blue Flannel Dot.
I prefer these SwaddleMe "blankets" to the Ultimate Swaddling Blanket. I found that one had too many steps and by the time you got your drowsy baby swaddled in the Ultimate Swaddling Blanket she was awake again (and probably mad). The two step design w/ velcro is key.
NOTE: I can only vouch for this pattern/color. I bought some in this size in the solid pink color from another vendor on Amazon and they have a different velcro system that does not work as well (more like the smaller size). Those may work better when she is larger, but they were too roomy at 3/4 - 4 months.
This is a must have for any parent looking for a way to help your baby get better naps and sleep more soundly through the night. I would highly recommend them.

made things so much easier
This one was also my husband's favorite swaddle to use with our daughter. It's lightweight and fits snuggly. She was not able to bust out of it like she did others. 2008-07-19

These are great for helping newborns and infants to feel secure and sleep better. My daughter loves using them with her baby girl! They make a wonderful gift. 2008-04-05
Sleep Necessity!
This product is fantastic! We have 4 of them in this larger size and they are perfect for swaddling our daughter from 3.5 months on after the swaddling blankets got too small. We also used the smaller size when she was younger. The quick 2 step wrapping and velcro tabs make swaddling very easy and secure (i.e. she can't "escape" the swaddle in the middle of the night). The generous size also gives her some room to move.
