    Great for traveling
My husband and I took our 7 month old on the road for three weeks and we knew lugging a pack 'n' play was out the question.

The pros: 1) Easy to set up and break down. 2) Very light weight and pretty compact too, I put it in my suitcase. 3) Comfortable for baby, she slept in it just fine.

The con: There's a cheap blanket that is supposed to velcro to the bottom of the tent for the child to lay on. Since loose blankets in a crib are a SIDS no-no, I was a little concerned because this blanket has loose ends and could flip up on the sides. My daughter is a little old to be concerned about that so I wasn't too worried, plus it never actually flipped up to cause any concern. But if were traveling with a newborn I would try to come up with another alternative to the blanket or just not use the blanket. The downside to not using it is then the child is sleeping on the nylon tent fabric which is not the most comfortable. The other issue with the blanket is that the blue dye rubs off on drooling faces.

All in all I am happy with this product. We'll take it on trips, to the beach, etc.

    Great idea
I love this product, however my daughter is a little skeptical. She will sleep in it but then wake up crying so we aren't sure if she likes it or not. We are giving it one more try then selling it!

    Love it!
I bought this after reading all the reviews, I was a little worried that it would be too small, however it fits my almost 3 year old just fine, and he's really tall. My 5 month old didn't have a problem sleeping in it. We took it camping with us and it was perfect! It's easy to fold up again, all you have to do is read the directions. I very happy with this bed!

    She likes it!
I bought this for my 4 month old daughter. She was very content to lay in this bed on the beach on a camping trip. She doesn't roll over yet, so she just kept looking around and smiling. It protected her from the sun, wind & running children. I made a couple of sheets for it, to keep it cleaner longer. I hope to use it in the backyard too. Folding was easy and the bag holds everything.

great for travel, even to the beach
We purchased this travel bed for our trip to Hawaii with then 9 mo. old and 2 1/2 yr. old. It worked great to take to the beach for the baby's nap while keeping him shaded and out of the sand. He was teething at the time and having difficulty adjusting to the time change, so ended up sleeping in bed with us most of the night instead of the tent. Since our Hawaii trip, we have gotton much more use from the tent than I originally thought we would. Our now almost 3 year old sleeps in it every time we go out of town overnight. She is not able to stay in a regular bed and has learned to climb out of a pack and play. She loves the tent, and we just clip the zippers together so she cannot undo it from the inside...sounds a bit mean, but it's much safer than her getting out and roaming the grandparents' house (or where ever we are) at night, especially one that's not too child proof!

The main con I have with this tent is that if you're trying to put a baby in there that's already asleep...good luck. It's difficult to bend down & slide them in sideways (putting down into a pack & play is much easier), but in addition, the noise of the zipper always woke our baby up.

Overall, given our difficulties with our toddler sleeping anywhere but home, it's been a life saver!
