The First Years Newborn Soothie Pacifiers, 2-Pack

This is the pacifier the hospital gave my daughter when she was born. She took to it quick and is still sucking on them. They're easier to keep clean. Only downfall is you can't attach a binky holder. And I wish they came in a wider range of colors.
For the perfect pacifier, go for the gumdrop. Same nipple as the soothie, just a better shape.

I know these pacifiers are supposed to be great, but I don't care much for the shape. It doesn't fit against the baby's face at all. I prefer the Gumdrop pacifiers. They're very similar to these, but they have a curved shape that fits closer to the baby's mouth. I bought some Soothies but never used them unless I was desperate. If you don't get Gumdrops, this is probably the next best.

When our boy was born, the hospital provided us with a few items, one of which was a "Newborn Soothie Pacifier." My wife had already purchased a few Juicy Couture Pacifiers, which she regards as the Lexus of pacifiers, I supplied a Billy Bob Teeth pacifier for the little tyke and several others were gifts. Well, guess which one the baby likes best? I'd say it was the free 'Smoothie" model provided by the hospital. Go figure. When the baby is cranky and I'm looking around for a pacifier, that's the one I'll choose.

The infant soothie pacifier is the only pacifier my LO has taken to since she first had one in the hospital. They are safe and are all one piece. Solid and sturdy. Much easier to buy online than to hunt down in stores Highly recommend.

My newborn girl was given a different kind of pacifier in the hospital, until she got a little fussy and the nurses gave her the Soothie. This has since been the only pacifier my little girl will take. I only had the one given to me at the hospital so I ordered more in case that one got lost! I got one for the bed, each diaper bag, etc.
