Editorial Review:
  • Designed especially for the Soothie Pacifier
  • Pacifier stays closer and cleaner
  • Won't block vent holes
  • Latex-free, hospital -grade silicone
  • Assorted designs and colors-you may not receive the attacher that is pictured

More than 2 million Soothie Pacifiers are given out to newborns in half of the nation's hospitals each year! Moms have been trying to solve for the need to have an attacher themselves, by putting string through the ventilation holes. This is a problem for 2 reasons: first, because it blocks the ventilation area, and second, it presses up against baby's face. Finally, an attacher designed specifically with Soothies! Blue Penguin with Igloo Clip Version

Customer Reviews:

works ok
Considering this is pretty much the only pacifier clip out there for Soothie pacifiers, it's worth the purchase. However, it's not perfect. The pacifier will come out with a bit of pulling, and the clip isn't the most secure. A little bulky, too, with those silly wings.

Good idea but needs work
Although the clip works, it doesn't work well. My five-month old easily separates the pacifier from the clip. I use it only when we're away from home as I too often have to put the clip and the pacifier back together. It comes in most handy when I'm carrying him and his hands are not occupied with the pacifier or when he's in his stroller and he's too busy looking around or playing with the toys in his tray to pay any attention to the clip. The soothie clip is a great idea, just one that needs some fine tuning.

Excellent product, great pacifiers.
Excellent product. I was heartbroken when I lost it at the store the other day, and my 10-month-old has been looking for it every since, and calls it his "boo-boo." I love the handy clip, and the fact these items are BPA free.
I second another poster--this is a SOOTHIE/FIRST YEARS PRODUCT. I would imagine Avent pacifiers and clips don't work with Soothie/First Years pacifiers. Negative reviews due to user error and improper research before buying aren't the fault of this product.

Had to buy this...
I had to buy this because my hospital started giving my son the soothies in the hospital and now he won't take another binky. Bummer since I own a bunch of avents...the pacifier holder is also very strange in how it attaches for a newborn without getting in their face.

Great idea, but has one big problem
Soothies are the only pacifiers my son will take and I got tired of chasing them hither and yon so I thought the holder would be a good solution. This binkey holder is a great idea and it's really cute, but the slot does not create enough friction. My little guy is five months old and he can get the binkey out of the holder fairly easily. I suspect that the problem is that he likes to play with the cute little penguin and twists it all over the place. Additionally, the clip doesn't always hold very well. If he doesn't detach the binkey and drop it on the floor or in the nether regions of the car he can pull the clip off his shirt and drop the whole thing.
