Customer Reviews:

It actually seems to put itself together. you just open it - it kind of opens itself. VERY light, soft mattress, just wish it came with a sheet but I will find one I am sure. I just wish I had found this crib when my other two kids were babies.

Our baby sleeps better in the Baby Bjorn, it is easier to assemble (great for quick naps on the go) and our child absolutely loves it.
You can literally set this thing up in 2 minutes or less where the Pack N Play takes a while longer and requires a lot more assembling and back bending.
Traveling with the Baby Bjorn is also great as it's light and small. It fits easily in a trunk and can be checked on a plane or placed in an overhead bin if you want to use it in an airport at the Gate.

However, a few thoughts.
1. The legs extend out and I kept tripping over them as I got out of bed (we had the crib next to me). Be very careful to remember the crib's 'footprint' is wider than you think and those legs are trippy.
2.I was excited to see reviews that said they set the Bjorn crib up in the airport for their baby as when we travel overseas it's a day and a half of travel to our destination with lots of layovers. I initially thought the crib was small enough to be a carry on. Now that I have it, I think it's too wide for overhead compartments on a plane. I think we'll have to check it.
3. Supposedly this crib can be used for several years, however, the Bjorn is a mini-crib. It's not very long. So if you have a tall baby (which we do) it may not last much past the first year or two.
4. I don't think the Bjorn makes a good playpen. It's too small and the walls provide little support. For longer road trips, we'll be taking the pack and play to use as a playpen.
But overall we are happy with our purchase and do recommend the Baby Bjorn Travel Crib if you have lots of places to visit with a baby in tow.

Wonderful crib
This is a great travel crib - so well designed, like all good products - always from Europe it seems.

Much better than Graco Pack N Play
This product is a joy to travel with. We used the Pack and Play from Graco a few times and looking back that thing is a huge, heavy plastic piece of junk.

Great travel crib
This is a great crib for travel. We have been using it with my son since he was 4 months. It is so much easier to setup, take down and carry than other cribs. My only issue is how low to the ground it is. I can understand having it that low if you use it for a playpen, however when placing a sleeping baby in it...you really have to bend over...be careful if you have a bad back. Otherwise, it is great! 2008-06-09

Ligthweight, portable, and comfortable, but don't trip over the legs!
This crib is pretty much as advertised. It sets up in seconds (such a great feature for those late night hotel check-ins, no thought involved, just pull out and unfold) and is very comfortable. My daughter slept through the night in it (which she never does!).

Most Awesome
We have a one year old and this has been excellent for us. We've taken it to Florida (no problem checking it, tho now you have to watch your bag limit!) and even tent camping (he slept through the night). It's really light, travels perfectly well and is extremely easy to set up. The only wonky part is folding up the legs correctly when you break it down. But after you work with it a couple times, it's a no-brainer. It's worth every cent. 2008-06-05
