Baby Bjorn® Safe Step Stool White

I origionally thought any stepstool to help my 3 year old son up to the toilet, or the sink was an easy choice, just pick the cutest one (happened to be a spongebob one)

Well I soon found that theres MUCH more to step stools, as my son was standing on his (not dead center, which I suppose is the only way it would have worked!) and two of the legs gave in at the same time, resulting with a chipped tooth, and a nearly broken (but VERY bloody) noes! He fell foward onto the ceramic sink, and ended up hitting his noes and tooth on the way down. I quickly went to the store, determined to buy a step stool that could hold more than just my 27 lb son!

I found the BabyBjorn and was sold. Its VERY sturdy, an adult could stand on the corner, it wont flip or give way. Theres grippers on the bottom so it doesnt slide (fustrating for my son who wants to push it to the potty, but a relief for us parents!) AND theres a grip on the top to keep wet feet from slipping off, because theres sort of "grates". I also happen to like the hieght, easy to reach the sink without too much bending (which happened with the old one, and hes a tall boy!). The color, although nuetral is spiced up with a little bear that seems to make my son happy. I also happen to like that its easy to clean with a wet cloth, but my sons other one had odd crevaces in it, in a STOOL! The stools are also stackable, as we have one now under our kitchen sink, in both bathrooms, and in my sons room. They prove to be great for adults too!

All in all please dont think of a stool as "just a stool" and make the mistake I did, the Baby Bjorn stool is not only good for kids, but parents too!

I usually write very long reviews but I think I can cut this one short! Other step stools skid around, are too brightly colored and too short! My 3 y.o b/g twins have used this since they were 18 months old. They use it for getting to the sink, to get on the potty, to reach something up high, to get on the chairs to eat, an deven to get into bed sometimes! They LOVE them. The stools are very sturdy and I recomend them for ANYONE, whether you have kids or not, it holds almost any weight and is very convinient and the perfect height. We have one in each bathroom, one in the upstairs hall closet and one in the cabinet under the kitchen sink,(or under the table lol). That means we have 4 of these stools. They are very simple to use and I even use them to sit on when I wash my younger babies. I plan to have these around for YEARS. They are great, clean and blend perfectly into any room. Buy them, they dont skid and are great for ANY age!

Unlike some cheaper plastic stools, this one can hold Mom or Dad! It may not look like much online, but when you see and feel it in person, you realize that it really is much nicer than the $5 stools you find at discount stores.

This is a durable and quality product. My son uses it for everything, from turning the lights on to getting on the potty. I use it to reach the pantry and get to all the permanent markers that I must hide from my 2 and a half year old. I must say that I am a hard core fan on Baby Bjorn items as they are durable, classic in design and color. This is a sturdy non-slip item It has supported me for months 120lbs (give or take 10 lbs!) We used it so much that I bought another step stool, made by playskool and I wished I had bought another BabyBjorn.

My son who is 2 1/2 took this stool directly upstairs and placed it right in front of the potty where he proceeded to climb up onto the potty and proclaim himself a big boy! It is sturdy, it doesn't tip over, and the colors are not offensive. Baby Bjorn products are definitely worth the extra bucks. I'll have this stool for my grandchildren! We paired it with the Toilet Trainer by Baby Bjorn and we're super satisfied!
