Bare Minerals has been great to me and my skin. Normally I am allergic to everything and either break-out or get all itchy with a rash. I've never had any problems with this facial foundation type product. it's so light, the only reason I use it, as I have never worn liquid foundation or face make-up of any kind. My mom was absolutely "Stunning" and turned heads and caused car accidents. I was just getting to the point in my life when it was time to get the "how to" advice for applying make-up, now that i've hit the 30 mark. My mom passed away on my 30th birthday and took her simple little secrets of "what to do and what not to do." I would appreciate any help or advice. I do not like to wear a lot of make-up...I don't like how it feels and I generally have an excellent complextion with the occasional "Zit that ate Las Vegas!!" I have some light freckles across the bridge of my nose and on my cheeks. Basically all I wear is eye make-up. I've tried everything on the market...except the eye make-up from this company...my eyes itch a lot with certain eye liners and my lashes itch or sometimes fall out from the mascara. Also, even though I am a brunette, with natural red highlights, my eyebrows are very light, almost blonde. I have a very expressionate face and move my eyebrows a lot. So far the item that works best is the brush on kind...it looks like mascara but you brush it on your eyebrows, but it doesn't fill in any bald spots or areas that need to be accented. I can't ever find the right color and after several attempts...i usually wipe it all off and go natural. I noticed that bare escentuals sells an eye package..but I read through it and didn't see anything about "eyebrows" in particular. I need help shaping or reshaping my natural brows and accenting what I do have with my very large eyes. I used to get compliments about my eyes all the time when i was around 20. Can't figure out what has changes since then...except, possibly over-plucking, bad shaping, or bad coloring. Is there somewhere I can go to get help or a lesson on how to turn heads like my mom...as I am virtually a mirror image of her, except she was always done to perfection from top to bottom and I always got by with a little make-up, and a pony tail. I'm lost! I need help. If anybody has any suggestions on what to buy, what products to use or how to successfully apply things..and in what order...I'd really appreciate it. Thank You, Amber

Wow! I just love Bare Escentuals. I have thrown all my other makeup away. I have very sensitive skin, and every other makeup product I have used has caused my skin irritation. i had the privilage of trying this make-up out before I actually bought it and I must say, that is the main reason why I bought myself a kit in the first place. I did not believe this make-up could do everything they claim, but it really does. I love it. It is the only make-up I use. It makes me feel polished and refined. Love it. Highly recommended.

I have used Bare Escentuals since about 1987 or 88. At that time they were in Los Gatos California with a store in one of the malls. I have tried other makeup only because I moved and could not get it anymore but found that nothing gave me the finish or natural look that I wanted.
