The colors are great. However the brush leaves a lot to be desired. I think they're working under the assumption that all eyes are created equally. Not so. If I line up part of the brush right above my lashline, the other half of the brush hits my eyelid a little too low. If you know how to do a smoky eye without the special brush, the colors are great for that.

I consider myself a BE fan; I even saturate my "Lush" brande skin [and Ladies, if you're looking for Love with your skin, hair, and ooh-la-la, look to LUSH brande. We have something right up here in Montreal!] with the Skin Rev-er-Uppers from BE ...well, because that's what you do! BE has so many products that make me mum think that I have finally acheived 'girlyhood' [she's been trying to turn her Tomboy daughter onto make up for years] and I have fallen in love with their products. I am disappointed; the tutorial isn't a tutorial at all ...it's vague and less than I would have expected, consisting of a flash of pictures and not so much on the how to. I think it may be me: I may not be 'getting it', and pulling off shades with my red hair and green/blue eyes can be difficult ...The shades are beautiful and the products are top of the line wonderful, but this kit wasn't for me.

I was really hoping that when I ordered this item I would be in love with it when it came. The colors are pretty and the product went on smoothly but I wish the "smoky" shade was a touch darker for my taste. The tutorial was also a little vague. Normally I love bare escentuals products but this one missed the mark for me.

yet again, another great product. easy to follow, fun to do. Worth the extra money.

Now if only they had had this kit for my mother in law.... Of course you can't say anything, but she looked like Endora from Bewitched. This kit is nice though, there are some good pointers in there and its really a good way of keeping a younger look. One thing that I would point out to the women out there is that make-up isn't going to cover your age forever. I started looking for good products to really help my skin underneath the make up (especially around my eyes) and these have really worked great:
