Tarte 4 Day Stay Lash Stain

I bought this on Saturday and it is terrible. It is better than
water proof because it does not flake, but it will still smudge under
your lower eyelashes. And that will not come off when you wash your
face so you have to use make up remover. In the morning, more is
smudged off, so the tips of your lashes no longer have mascara. At
the end of the day, it continues to smudge under your lower lashes,
and the lower lashes no longer have mascara. So, totally not worth
it. It is more flexible than water proof mascara, you can curl your
eyelashes with it.

I may use it as a replacement for water proof mascara (cuz I hate
waterproof mascara), but I would not call this a stain. Your lashes
are definitely coated with mascara.

I bought this product to use while backpacking. I thought I could put it on before the trip and not think about it again. While I agree that it stays on....it is not a stain. A stain would look like your lashes were naturally dark. This product goes on like mascara and feels like mascara. It looked ok when I put it on (like mascara) but after sleeping with it on I woke up to sticky, crimped, goofy looking eyelashes that looked longer in places and shorter where the "stain" had worn off during the night. After a shower my lashes are still stuck together. It does not feel soft and natural. Not was I was hoping for at all.

I love this lash stain! It's just what I need. It works like mascara but doesn't clunk. It will last for a few days even after a shower and face wash and doesn't leave any color on my face or run. You don't have to scrub your eyes to try to remove it, it just fades off slowly after a few washes. This is great for people like me who likes to show off and enhance their lashes but don't want to reapply and wash off everyday. Sometimes through the week all I do is run an errand or two (stay at home mom). So I want to look decent without always putting lots of makeup on. Plus, this has a lot of good things in it so its great for your lashes. I have sensitive eyes so I can't wear alot of mascara but this one doesn't irritate at all. Love this! I haven't used my original mascara ever since I bought this.
