I was in duty free, rushing to catch a plane - the girl behind the counter gave me one spray and at the first scent, I said "I'll take it." I didn't even ask the price. When I wore it - my daughter's first words when she saw me (after a year separation) was - "You can give me that for Christmas!" I've never had such a reaction from her and we are both perfume aficionados. Much thanks to "the nose" at Chanel since 1978 - Jacques Polge, who created this wonderful scent.

and not only because love of my life gave it to me ;))) Normally, I find most Chanel classics too "heavy" and they give me headaches. On the contrary, mademoiselle (and chance) are, although still sweet and quite rich, very different in that respect. Mademoiselle is notably on the sweet side, but still with enough fresh notes not to make it overbearing. How you like it is gonna dependon your nose, but it is worth a try.

I just love this perfume. The scent is incredible and many people have asked me what perfume I'm wearing!
