Editorial Review:
It's the first day of autumn, and Christopher Robin has written a book of rhymes about all of his friends in the Hundred Acre Wood. But when the pages of the book scatter in the wind, everyone must help put it back together. Now if Pooh can only remember how to rhyme, it just may save the day! WINNIE THE POOH ABC's provides an age-appropriate introductory lesson in literacy by conveying basic information about rhyming, highlighting the value of writing down words, explaining the connection between sounds and letters and familiar names, and illustrating how to form basic letters. Your preschooler will find learning irresistibly fun with Winnie the Pooh and all his pals in never-before-seen stories developed by Disney and leading educators! Discover Disney Learning Adventures, and give your child the priceless gift of learning that lasts a lifetime.

Great with the Disney 123 DVD
No problems

The bonus song was the only part I could admit to hitting the target, but it's very short (2 or 3 minutes) and there are only so many times you can put it on repeat before you want to tear your hair out.
I purchased this DVD after falling in love with the Shapes and Sizes DVD, which is also from Disney's Learning Adventures. The difference is night and day. (I also own the 123s, which is also tremendously better than this disc).
If you want to help your child learn letters (and even the sounds the letters make), go with the LeapFrog Letter Factory disc. I bought it along with this disc after reading the reviews here and it has earned every good word said about it.

Good
Doesn't cover all of the letters, but is still a good story and very cute. My son loves it. 2008-09-01

Doesn't really teach the alphabet
The title is a bit deceiving. This video doesn't really cover the ABC"s. Pooh looses the pages to a book of poems that Christopher Robin has written about the different characters. In order to get the book in the right order, they must rhyme the last word of the previous poem to the first word of the next poem. They then learn to write the first letter of each of their names. There is, however, a short video that sings the ABC song in the bonus features. If you're looking for a specific ABC teaching aid, I'd look somewhere else, but if you love Pooh, or your little one does, it's still a cute video that has some educational merit. 2007-05-27

Amazing music, my 22 month old LOVES it!
This is by far our son's favorite video. He is thrilled by the wonderful, orchestral music, and the funny scenes with the characters. I'm sure he doesn't understand the entire plot, but for sheer enjoyment, I wish I had 10 movies like this! Highly recommend! 2007-02-10

If You're Looking To Teach Letters, Look Elsewhere
I have to agree with the vast majority of the reviewers and say that this product is more or less useless when it comes to its expected purpose: to teach pre-schoolers the alphabet. It focuses mostly on words and rhyming. This might be good for older children, but not for a two year old and not for a parent that wanted something to teach letters.
The bonus song was the only part I could admit to hitting the target, but it's very short (2 or 3 minutes) and there are only so many times you can put it on repeat before you want to tear your hair out.
