not amenable for hard of hearing viewers

the basic story line is enjoyable if you have followed it from the beginning. The DVD does not have closed captioning which makes it difficult for the hard of hearing.

Excellent Series

This is an excellent 4th series with plenty of laughs as usual. Can't wait for Season 5!!

As Good As The Other Seasons

I can't stand Dennis Leary as a comedian, however he is excellent as Tommy Gavin. He has found his nitch.

Rescue me may need rescuing

I think the first 3 seasons are solid and very well written. I found the 4th season weak in plot and to be harsh, a little boring. It tries to pick up the pieces from the previous 3 seasons and follow on, but thats all it is really. No great twists or events. The new stories are slow and predictable which is disappointing. I was looking forward to this season as i love the first 3 seasons, and i would buy this 4th season only to follow up the final episode of the 3rd season which left me hanging on... but i probably will not watch theses episodes in a hurry again. Hope season 5 is more energetic.
