I sent my laptop in for repair over 7 times. First thing I notice a month later is 2 dead pixels so I thought ok thats kinda normal. a few weeks later my audio jack blew out. sent it in for repair. Then a month later my audio jack blew again. Sent it in for repair. This time they replace every part except for battery and powercord. Then after I got it back a few months later the powercord went bad. They sent me a repalcement but then a month later the battery goes bad. so now almost a year later with my warranty about to expire I a broken powercord and a broken battery. HP sucks!!!Compaq Presario CQ60-210US 15.6-Inch Laptop (2.0 GHz AMD Athlon X2 QL-62 Dual-Core Processor, 2 GB RAM, 250 GB Hard Drive, DVD Drive, Vista Premium)

I'll never buy Compaq again.

After fighting HP on the first pc I have no will to do so on the second. They don't live up to the "Built to Last" sticker on the keyboard. HP does not live up to their warranty. My 16 family members have agreed to never by HP/Compaq products ever again.

HP Suck!!
Ok, At first I thought Great Computer. Cheap, fast, plenty of memory affordable. How many of these reviewers had there laptop for longer than a couple months? I have. Here is the conclusion...

This Laptop is Garbage
I've had this laptop for almost a year now. Compaq has locked the BIOS to prevent you from installing any other kind of network card. The network card that comes with the laptop fails to pick up any kind of signal whatsoever.
I'll never buy Compaq again.

Never another HP product
I purchased two Compaq laptops for Christmas 2008. Four months into using my laptop, the screen spontaneously cracked. I hardly took it anywhere and when I did I used a heavy duty carry case. HP/Compaq took it into consideration for repair, at my expense. $429 to replace the screen, I opted out. The second pc has a glitch where the screen has to be repositioned every 30 minutes or so when it goes all white.
After fighting HP on the first pc I have no will to do so on the second. They don't live up to the "Built to Last" sticker on the keyboard. HP does not live up to their warranty. My 16 family members have agreed to never by HP/Compaq products ever again.

very satisfied
I think I am difficult to please when is comes to techy stuff. I'm not a techy person. I've owned this laptop for over 6 months and I am very pleased. I've had some tech issues that I didn't understand and I called the help number (twice now) and both times my problems were solved in a courteous manner. Plus the problems were not the laptop problems, they were my lack of knowledge. The staff didn't treat me like an idiot. They were great and I love this laptop. I paid $399 after rebates so it was a very good buy. Also got a free color printer that I don't need....but it was free! I think you would be happy with this product. 2009-11-06
