Wrong plug for 6720s

They need to update the models that this charger is good for. The HP 6720s is NOT compatible with this AC adapter/charger. Noticed after I got it home that the plug in the picture is black. My original was yellow on the end.

ehh...

I got this, and it looked like a great charger and all, but it doesn't work with the Compaq 6720s- AT ALL. It is the TOTALLY wrong plug on the end for the 6720s the name is a lie.

Lighter than HP item, but also considerably hotter

As advertised, this brick is considerably smaller and lighter than the original HP unit.
However, I also noticed that when charging my HP 6710b at full rate, it sometimes runs too
hot to touch. At that same time, the laptop touchpad becomes incredibly jerky and
unresponsive. I've never had a power adapter influence the functioning of my machine and am
somewhat scared about that. Some searching on the web indicated that this is most likely
a problem with the HP laptop itself. Still, it never showed up when using the original chargers.

In other words: it's all that's advertised, but be warned of some side effects.

Great for travel!

I purchased this to use at home for my work laptop (HP Elitebook 8530w) and I haven't been disappointed yet. It's about half the size/weight of the unit that is included with the Elitebook. This makes it much better to use for travel or to put in a small space (my desk is a bit cluttered). I would recommend this device to anyone based on the use I've gotten from it so far.

This review is easy, it should work and it replaced one that I got with the original computer. This unit weighs far less than the original unit which makes it better for travel and it works.
