FitFlop "WalkStar" Patent Sandal Black Exclusive 8

These shoes delivered on every expectation EXCEPT they are not a substitute for bonifide excercise, as we'd all like to believe. I found them to be immediately comfortable, the soles are so cushioney that you feel like you are walking on air. I have had many compliments on their looks and find them to be stylish. I have had hours of enjoyment however, they have not turned a work-in-process body into a Women's Health front cover candidate.

i bought a pair of these from bliss and after 2 months of moderate wear, the straps started tearing on both sides. i asked for an exchange and they said they don't carry them anymore since other customers have been having problems like mine. so if you really want these, go for the uglier but sturdier canvas ones, the materials for the patent style are cheap and will fall apart. as far as the sandal, i didn't wear them enough to 'work' out my leg..but i did feel like they worked my muscles the first couple of times i wore them.

I consider myself a flip flop master. Having lived in Arizona for 7 years I wore them year round. I have had all different kinds, many uncomfortable and/or easily broken. I have had these shoes for two years now and they are still going strong. In deciding to make my purchase of these I had read great reviews but was cheap enought to not want to spend $50 of a pair of shoes unless I knew they were really good. I told my mother in law about them because she is spendier than I and more willing to give things like this a try because of her health -she has back and legs problems among other things. She got them and reported that she loved them too, even being able to stand for periods of time on her hard kitchen floor to cook, when wearing them. So I too got them. I am unable to notice that they have made me more fit, but I run and workout regularly. The concensus with other reviews has been that if you are already fit you will likely not notice these making a difference. People who did not work out reported soreness and change in their butt and legs. One time I wore these hiking- I really should have worn my running shoes like I normally do but I was told that the trail would be super easy and not require much actual hiking. Well we ended up doing a fairly hardcore hike and blazing our own trail at a point when we had gone the wrong way. I did get really dirty feet and wished for close toed shoes, still these things were amazing. Any other flip flop would certainly have broken given the circumstances. When we came to a stream/river we had to cross I was able to step right in and help carry our children across, then continue hiking without the bother of wet shoes and socks. The hike gave the shoes a workout, they were already a little big on me and now they are more stretched out and its annoyingn that they don't fit as snug my feet king of swim in them now. So I think the most important thing to know is to get the right size. I am came on here rightn wanting to get a smaller pair to replace mine. I wear a 7 or 7 1/2 and if the shoes are really running small an 8. So for these I decided to go up rather then down and got an 8. I wish I had gotten a 7, they would fit much better. These are super comfortable and durable I highly recommend them.

The Fitflops are fantastic. I've only had them three weeks so I can't really guage how much toning they are doing but my husband says he can see results in my legs and butt ( He may be biased) . However they are the ultimate in walking comfort. It feels as though you are not wearing shoes at all and the support is great . Wearing them makes me hold a better posture and my lower back and feet feel stronger and well supported.I do a lot of walking around the house and garden especially on the weekend and I am always in my FitFlops.
I plan to start taking my morning walk in them soon.

This is the second Fitness product that I just happened to come across on Amazon.Com and have had great results with. Shaun T's Hip Hop ABS has done wonders for me.

I hope Amazon keeps me posted on Fitness products !!!

I was skeptical at first, but once I actually walked in them I was hooked! I went back and bought a second pair. For me they made my foot feel more secure while doing my usual walking. I enjoyed not hearing the flopping sound when I walked and the extra thick sole was very comfortable. I usually don't walk around in thong type flip flops because they irritate my toes but these don't. I have worn them every day since I bought them. Well worth the price I paid for them.
