Dr. McDougall's Right Foods Vegan Tortilla Soup with Baked Chips, 2-Ounce Cups (Pack of 12)

I like most of the Dr McDougall soup cups, but this is my second favorite. Great spicy flavor, goes nice with some crusty bread or warmed tortillas. I use these for a quick lunch at my desk and bring them camping for a no fuss quick meal.

This soup is very tasty, filling, low calorie, low sodium, low fat, and satisfying. This is not going to be a super rich, fatty, overly spicy soup. This is a healthy, vegan soup as specified. For what it is, I am more than pleased with what it is is and how good it tastes. Personally, I like my food spicy. I add extra red pepper and even some salsa to this soup for some extra kick sometimes. Even without that, this is good on its own. Just be when you make it, you let it it sit a little longer than 3 minutes or else the beans will be a little bit under cooked. I usually boil the water or add the hot water from the machine at work, and put a plate on top of the cup. I let it sit for a good 5-10 minutes before I eat it. Enjoy!

I love this soup. It is great and I eat it all the time for lunch. You have to following the cooking directions though. If you don't then the beans do not hydrate correctly but otherise is great! I order it by the case.

I love this soup! It is loaded with beans, rice, corn and tortilla bits and thickens when cooked according to the directions. (You must let it sit for a few minutes for the vegetables to reconstitut). I think the person who said it was like "twigs from the yard" didn't wait long enough.) The soup is flavorful and spicy, very tasty!! This is a great price, as I have been paying about $2.25 each for it at the local Giant Eagle, which is the only place I can find it.

The reviews for this are all over the board. I like the tortilla soup. It is good and flavorful. Not my favorite of the McDougall soups. But, this is my mother's favorite soup. So, I keep her stocked with it.
