Glutino Gluten-Free Brown Rice Pasta, Penne, 10-Ounce Packages (Pack of 8)

Most GF products are more expensive but this product line is more expensive that other same-ingredient GF pastas. Having said that, this is a VERY good GF pasta. Do note that it's a 10 ounce and not one-pound box.

My family is wheat free and pretty much gluten free, so this is a staple in a our house. I cook up this pasta at the begining of a week and use it frequently for lunches as tuna salad or reheated red-sauce pasta. It's also tasty with just butter, salt, and pepper as a side dish. The cooked pasta lasts in the fridge for several days and reheats quite well in the microwave with a dollop of sauce or a teaspon of water.

Don't overcook the pasta (border on undercooked) and rinse it well in cold water to stop the cooking process or it tends to get a little mushy.

We love this pasta. It makes being gluten-free that much easier!

I just got this about a week ago, and is it ever delicious. I made it last night with spegetti sauce, onion , Italian sausage slices, and mushrooms. Also with Mozzerella cheese. UMMM UMMM. When you cook this kind of pasta , make sure you dont over cook it, because it will get mushy. Did that with the first box of pasta I got. It was good, but mushy, Just cook it until it's almost done, especially if you're going to add sauce and bake it some more. Try it , you'll like it.

I think the taste is fine. The noodles split very easily, like most foods made without gluten. My son is extremely picky and will eat this but it isn't his favorite.

The Glutino Penne Pasta actually tastes like the real thing! I've had a few bad experiences with rice pasta, but this stuff is pretty good. I don't notice a major difference when microwaving leftovers... so this deserves 5 stars
