Golden Temple Wha Guru Chew, Peanut Cashew, 1.13-Ounce Bars (Pack of 24)

Just didn't like it myself much, but a lot of people I gave it to did, hence the 4 stars. You need to try it yourself to find out.

We love these chews. Great ingredients and great taste. However, this isn't our favorite flavor. We like Almond Cashew better. This Peanut Cashew chew has orange oil in it, giving it a bit different taste. Still good, just not our fave.

The almond ginger is one of my favorite snacks of all time. These sticky treats melt in your mouth and have the perfect combination of flavor, texture, and sweetness. I can't eat chocolate, so I'm always looking for rich non-chocolate treats, and this is by far my favorite. Almonds and ginger are also good for the body. I bought a box (24) of these from Amazon and found it hard to stop eating them. I would eat 3-4 at a time, and always felt great after eating them (unlike with most sweet treats). Now I want more! I got them just a couple of weeks ago, but I must have gotten the last box. I bought my local grocery store out of them too.. :'(

Ah, Wha Guru Chews! Where do I begin!
In the early 1980s a friend turned me onto them, and ever since I grab them when I can find them. They are becoming hard to find though, even online (esp. the Cashew Almond, which is THE BEST!)
I recently tried to find them again, because now that I have children, I want them to experience a Wha Guru Cashew Almond!

I love ginger, but some of the ginger candies I've had were too spicy for me. This one certainly has kick, but not so much that I'm looking for the fire extinguisher. I bought them to help with my morning sickness, the chewy caramel and almonds are a great bonus to the gingery goodness. :)
