If you love coffee, this is not for you. The only similarity between this product and coffee is the color. I couldn't even finish my cup. Imagine grabbing a handful of mulch from your flowerbed, steeping it in hot water, and straining it into a cup. That's what this reminds me of. If you put cream and sugar in your coffee, then you really don't like the taste of coffee anyway, so this might be for you. I'm sure if you threw cream and sugar in this, it might be good.

I've been looking for a product to replace my extreme coffee habit. I never knew "herbal coffees" existed! It took me a long time to figure out which one I should try; based on customer reviews on Amazon.com, I decided to go with the Teeccino Java product. You can brew it the same way you make regular coffee! so, that was a plus. I like my coffee very strong, so, I thought I'd like Teeccino Java strong, too ... where I'd usually put two whopping tablespoons of coffee per 6 oz of water, I thought I'd use the same this product. I found out, you need less than half that (I found out the hard way, ha!) The instructions clearly say one tablespoon per cup of water (i believe this is a "real" cup, like 8oz, not a coffee cup, 6oz). It's nice because this product should last a while. Now, the not-so-good thing is, it doesn't taste like coffee that much; however, I'm thinking this product will be a great replacement once I get used to it! Plus, it's actually "healthy" for you! I would normally drink my coffee strong and black (no sweeteners). I found w/ Teeccino Java, it's pretty good plain - hot or cold, w/ or w/out sweeteners or cream. When I run out of this product, I'm anxious to try the chocolate! Oh, I also wanted to mention that, one time, I mixed in a tablespoon of regular coffee and it was still good. The product itself is pretty dark (darker than coffee); i've only been drinking this for a few days; therefore I haven't noticed any teeth staining. If you're worried about your pearlies, you might want to keep water handy and avoid contacting your front teeth while drinking. :)

I love coffee so much I used to drink it all day - obviously that had to end at some point. After being diagnosed with IBS, I was miserable at the thought of stopping my coffee consumption, but settled for tea for several years until I read about Teecchino. I am so happy this product is on the market! I think the flavored versions taste better than the plain "original" which has a slight ashtray-flavored aftertaste. But the Vanilla, the Chocolate Mint, and the Amaretto Almond (hands down the best flavor) are superb! I drink this stuff constantly with no stress and no guilt. A real lifesaver for a coffee-lover who can no longer drink the real stuff.

I've tried the original Teeccino and liked it but the JAVA is the closest to getting that coffee flavor (it has coffee flavor in it). Definitely a great option for those wanting to kick the coffee habit!

This herbal coffee has great body and rich flavor. And you don't have to boil water to stir into it like other coffee substitutee, you brew it up just like coffee! My dad couldn't believe there wasn't any coffee in it. Give it a try you'll like it!
