Necessity for performance fabrics
It's the only thing that gets the odor out of my bike clothes. I've tried Tide, Cheer, & Purex. I even tried mixing in some ammonia. I haven't tried Penguin yet (it's like double the price). Supposedly, it also allows the performance fabrics to work properly (unlike regular detergents). I didn't verify as I was mainly concerned about the odor. Also, it's way cheaper here than any local bike shops.

didnt remove odors as effectively as promised
I am a varsity athlete for a college rowing team. I work out on average 20 hours a week and thus have a large amount of dirty atheletic apparell to deal with on a weekly basis.

I expected that WIN would solve my laundry problems. However when i tested it out on what i would call a normal to smaller sized load of athletic laundry, it didnt clean the clothes as thoroughly as my regular TIDE detergent. I used the reccomended half capful for this load so thereafter i figured that i needed to use at least a full cap to one and a half capfulls in order to adequately clean my laundry.

After increasing the amount of detergent that i used it did get my clothes clean but still not any better than regular detergent.
All in all i spent more than i think i should on a bottle of detergent that lasted a week and i would not buy this product again. I seriously doubt that it is capable of cleaning the clothing of Olympic athletes if it cant even clean my own.

WIN Detergent
This product works great for sweaty, smelly, athletic clothes. The scent is very refreshing. We had to order it online though because it is hard to find locally.

Finally Something That Works
First let me preface that not only was it tough finding a detergent that removed strong odors but I also have eczema which severely limits what type of detergent I can use. (i.e. Tide and about two thirds of the other detergents). I do not like writing reviews but after trying so many detergents, some of which gave me hives and irritated my eczema, I am proud to admit that Win is by far the best. Not only does this detergent power out intense odors(I practice MMA and sweat allot)but it also does not cause my eczema to flair up. I highly recommend this detergent.

This is the ONLY thing I have found that works! 100% satisfied.
Seriously, this stuff absolutely ROCKS!

Ok, ok, I am a self professed germophobe and I wash my hands at least 25 times a day. I guess I am saying that my personal hygiene is very important to me and I don't even like the idea of having smelly cycling clothes.

While I absolutely love the wicking and comfort associated with technical fabrics, boy o boy they can develop a rank stench over time that you really cannot smell until you start perspiring in them again.

I have used Tide with bleach on my cycling apparel so many times it is silly and still the faint "DMS - dead mouse smell" comes back.

That is, until I tried WIN.

I use it in my High Efficiency washer, on warm with my cycling stuff and it absolutely cleans the heck out of my fabrics and after 2 washings with training in 97 degree heat between the washings - I can say with total clarity - NO DMS.

I ordered one 4 pack the first time and reordered 2 more today.

Say no more.
