Multi-platinum recording artist Barenaked Ladies will release Snacktime, a collection of 24 original children’s songs through their imprint label Desperation Records. "Our collective kids now outnumber the band more than 2 to 1," explains vocalist/guitarist Ed Robertson. "We set out to make a record that would be entertaining for them … not strictly a children’s record, but a record that children would really enjoy. Our kids are into all kinds of music. Making the focus about what our kids like was a truly liberating process and fun for the whole band."

I think that the first half of the CD is the superior part. 789 and the ninjas are phenomenal. The album drags just a bit after the canadian snacktime trilogy,but I still think it's phenomenal!

Great for kids and adults
Not much more to say - kids enjoy at least half of the songs immensely and like the others and tired of Puff the Magic Dragon we like the change-up - and there are even some similarities to BNL's "adult work". Great CD. 2008-10-03
Absolutely Fabulous!
I absolutely adore this album,however,I'm afraid that *I* enjoy it more than my two year old.

Hilarious - Glad to Laugh with The Barenaked Ladies Again!
I must say that I am glad to have another funny Barenaked Ladies album in my collection that I can laugh while I enjoy the creative talent of this Canadian Crew. Great job guys! 2008-09-22
Barenaked Ladies Kid's CD
I bought this CD for my daughter's first birthday. I have been a fan of Barenaked Ladies for awhile and have always thought their songs were fun. When I saw that they had a kids CD, I bought it right away, knowing it would be a fun CD that I would enjoy as well as my daughter. It did not disappoint! 2008-09-17
Funny, terrific CD for kids!
We love this CD! The lyrics are funny and so clever - I laughed out loud several times the first time I listened to this CD, and whenever I have adult friends in the car, I make them listen to certain tracks (Crazy ABC's, Allergies, My Big Sister, I Don't Like..) I even forget to turn it off after I drop my son off at school. Thank you Barenaked Ladies for this terrific album! 2008-09-07
