These beautiful laptop desks are perfect for the growing use of laptops in homes. With the increase in laptop temperature, placing your laptop on your lap can become extremely uncomfortable. It's easily assembled and can be adjusted to fit any height. Bring your home laptop use to a whole new level.

Customer Reviews:

Cheap, poorly designed and frustrating
This product is impossible to put together properly. The pieces don't fit. It comes with a little hex wrench that is supposed to tighten the screws, but the last two screws won't tighten all the way, leaving me with a wobbly stand. It's a cheap piece of junk. I'm very unhappy with it. It's either going back to the seller or into the trash.

Convenient, Perfect!
Very happy with this desk. Perfect for my needs. Adjusts comfortably for sitting in a low club chair to standing. Pretty, rich finish. Very pleased!

Arrived in used condition
Arrived in used condition. Wood was already well scratched beyond the gloss to see the raw wood. Assembly would have been reasonable had it not been for the screws barely fitting into the holes, one I still can't screw in. Wasted hr and a half just trying to screw the thing in. Height adjustment is poor, doesn't go high enough, I have an adjustable bed barely rises high enough. WORST PART-- DOES NOT GO FULLY OVER MY BODY ON THE BED. I STILL HAVE TO CRANE MY NECK TO THE RIGHT BECAUSE THE BASE WON'T GO FAR ENOUGH UNDER THE BED. Laptop table is small. I have a 17" monitor and it barely fits on the main table.

Wheels, what wheels? Horrible, crummy wheels. If you want to save your laptop from crashing to the floor, pick up the laptop table to move it rather than roll it or it will tip.

This is better than the winsome wood table also for sale but that's not saying much--screws and tools came completely rusted, no holes where there should be, wood in bad condition.

Still it's not enough. You would think this should be easy to manufacture. If there were another brand I knew was good, I would return this.

Great for some things - not so much for others
Overall, I like this cart. It seemed the perfect thing for what I wanted, which was to use my laptop while watching TV from a recliner. (How lazy is that?).
As long as I'm sitting upright using my 12.1" notebook, it works well. But for a larger notebook I can't lower the tray far enough to be able to see over it to the TV without it jamming against my knees. Reclining works well but with the same issue. In addition, there is no way to have the tray go over the arm of the recliner because of the perpendicular supports so I have to angle the whole thing and sit the notebook at an angle. Still, it works better than anything else I've found so far.
Height adjustments are cumbersome as the movable part is very heavy (a testament to that sturdy construction) and you have to release two bolts to make the adjustment.
As for quality, everything but the wheels are made of heavy duty materials that I doubt would ever wear out under normal use. The wheel locks seemed to lock on their own so I finally broke all of the tabs off so they wouldn't lock. Before I did that, one of the wheels cracked and then broke off after about a year usage on a hard wood floor.
So it's not perfect but I still like it.

OK, BUT a Pain in the *** and Fingers
Just so ya'll know...
The desk arrives COMPLETELY disassembled, which means that even the brackets that support the desktop must be attached by the buyer.
IMHO, it is a pain to assemble, especially if you have arthritis, since the bolts are blunt with a hexagon-shaped hole in the top.
These bolts must be screwed down into a plastic plug in the bottom of the desktop. The manufacturer includes a tiny little allen wrench for this purpose.
After some effort and frustration, we ended up going to a hardware store to buy a ratcheting nutdriver with a 5/32" hexhead tip, which made assembly much easier.
The shape of the legs ( the same four point style as a hospital bedside tray table) will NOT work with a regular recliner chair, or a sofa that is very close to the floor.
However, I believe that this desk would work next to the bed for either a laptop, a book, or a meal.
The finish on the desktop is a little rough on the edges, but very nice on the flat surface.
The completed desk seems sturdy and fairly stable.
Overall, it's a pretty good desk, much better than the wooden folding one that we initially purchased. That one lasted less than a month.
