I bought this DVD player to play UK DVDs and it works perfectly! It also plays US DVDs. The picture is great and it is slimline so it doesn't take up much space. I would recommend this to anyone!

I just bought this for Christmas '08 so I can watch region 2/PAL DVDs -- hooked it up to my TV in 5 minutes, changed the color setting to NSTC, popped a region 2 DVD in and it played perfectly. No need to enter any codes at all. Great price, too -- so don't miss out on region 2 DVDs! Get this and you'll be good to go.

We purchased several DVD's from our trip to China this summer but did not have a multiregion player to view them with. I purchased this one, just pluged it in, and it worked great! I did not have to enter any special code, it works with both our US discs and the ones we purchased in China.

I couldn't be happier!

I read all the glowing reviews about this DVD player. I purchased one. I dont' know if the player is defective or not, but it played back in Black and White picture. After about 20 minutes the picture went to color.
I tried to adjust the controls with the menu button. I had no success. It did play the PAL format perfectly. Because of the effort I had to take to return it I decided to junk it. All othe DVD Players worked fine on the TV I was using.
