PINK Premium Amazon Kindle Silicone Skin Case cover for Amazon Kindle electronic reading device (Pre-Order Ships June 11)

I love my pink cover! it makes my kindle easier to hold and the stand makes it more convenient!! LOVE IT

The concept of a silicone skin for the Kindle was a good one. The problem lies in the execution. The skin is too tight. When I click to advance the page the skin holds the button down and my unit keeps advancing wildly. I click to go back using the previous page button and the skin holds that button down and the pages go flying in the reverse direction.

This product is a RIP-OFF

* It's very pretty. I have the black skin, and the kindle is now a very striking piece. I think all colors will have the same result.
* It's a perfectly snug fit. It could hardly fit better. Everything is still exposed that should be. Just a quibble, you have to get your fingernail in just a bit to flip the power and cell switches.
* It quiets the page navigation presses.
* It softens the corners of the product.
* It adds a bit of weight to the unit. The skin is about 1/3 of the weight of the kindle, so you'll feel it when you lay back and hold the kindle up. But after taking the skin back off again, I realized the kindle wasn't ultra-light to begin with. Shouldn't dissuade you from purchasing.
* You'll probably want to cut off the nibs on the back and remove the stand if you still want to carry it in the original case (to protect the screen).
* To reiterate, there's no screen protection included here (at least in the package I received). But I hate screen protectors in general. The gel skin should save the screen in a fall. Just you'll want a case of some kind if you keep the kindle in a bag.

It doesn't say in the description but this skin covers the Kindle casing only, and does not offer any protection for the screen. I received a letter saying that a small piece of plastic was included as an "free gift" at the introduction of the skin, but is no longer included. I did get this free gift. It is just a clear piece of heavy plastic and has stickers on it. When you try to get the stickers off, it leaves a sticky residue that is very difficult to remove. So if you're expecting clear plastic over the screen, like with IPOD screens, you will be disappointed. I also removed the stand, as it was flimsy (but simple to take off the skin).

This case is great for the Kindle. It covers it very nicely to protect it. I chose the pink oneto add some color to the bleak white that the Kindle comes in. The cover is not too bright or too dull in color, just right. I love this cover, plus it allows me adequate access to the Kindle buttons. Thank you Vizu!
