Sock Monkey Jack in the Box

I bought this toy for my 6 month old grandson and his 3 yr old brother just loves winding it for him. They both are surprised when the monkey pops up. Very cute and well made toy. One issue is that the monkey doesn't stuff back into his box very easily, but a minor issue compared to how cute it is.

I love this "Jack" in the box. I was never fond of clowns so this was the perfect gift for my son. I also got a butterfly one for my daughter.

I love the sock monkey so getting this for our 6 month old was a no brainer. But when you play it and it pops out you can't just close it shut and play it again, the little latch that holds the lid closed has to be pushed into place every time. Not so much fun.

I love the orginality of this product...it is the only jack-in-the-box sock monkey that I've seen. My brother's favorite stuffed animal growing-up was a sock monkey he called "Monkey Monk" and I was beyond delighted to find this product to give to his 8 month old son at Thanksgiving. (I couldn't wait until christmas!) BOTH of their faces lit up when they saw it. So darling and retro. (His son is a bit too young to play with it by himself at this point but with the assistance of a grown-up he can be completely entertained. He gets SO excited to see it and the grown-ups do too.) So far all of the Schylling products I've purchased have been great and I appreciate their classic style. Refreshing.

This is the cutest Jack in the Box ever! I bought it for my 21 month old son and he can turn the crank but finds it easier to pull back the tiny tab that holds the door closed. I just have to convince him to put in the work to enjoy the melody before the monkey pops out. Very cute toy. Seems plenty durable.
