Editorial Review:
HeatMax HotHands Hand and Body Warmers are larger (4" x 5") and designed to last up to 18 hours and provide safe, comfortable warmth in the coldest of temperatures. When placed in pockets, between layers of clothing, these warmers will help you enjoy cold weather activities longer, whether it's hunting, fishing, working or just being a spectator. Made in the USA. Box of 40 Warmers. Item # HH-1

I have also used them when outdoors taking landscape photographs on cold days - this time just stuffing them in my pockets and putting my hands in my pockets as they get chilled. Since gloves are rather cumbersome when handling camera gear, this is a great solution.

Keeps you toasty
This is a godsend when you have to be outside in the cold. The exothermic reaction that starts once the plastic wrapping is opened lasts for hours and does keep whatever pocket or glove the small packet is inserted in nice and warm. I use them when I ride my bike on really cold days - using full-fingered cold weather cycling gloves doesn't keep out the biting cold after a few hours in 30-40 degree riding, but by palming one of these warmers in each hand before putting on the glove I ensure a warmth that goes to the fingertips.
I have also used them when outdoors taking landscape photographs on cold days - this time just stuffing them in my pockets and putting my hands in my pockets as they get chilled. Since gloves are rather cumbersome when handling camera gear, this is a great solution.

Great!!!
Kept us warm all thru hunting season! Nice big size & didn't need gloves, even in Northern Wisconsin! 2008-12-13

Great for an anti-war vigil on a very cold corner
We bought these warmers for members of our weekly Wednesday anti-war vigil at the National Guard Armory in Teaneck, NJ (4:30-6:00 pm). In the winter it's very cold, snowy, and windy. The hand and foot warms are our salvation. We hand them out at the vigil so everyone can stay warm. They really work. 2008-12-12

AMAZING
I don't know how these work, but they're amazing. If you're choosing between this and the hand-size version, keep in mind that these last almost twice as long. The downside is that you'll use them up faster because you need one for each pocket. Sometimes they have a tendency to get too hot though, which isn't a problem for me, but I wouldn't give them to young kids or elderly, and I definitely wouldn't fall asleep with one touching your skin. Also, they really do last around 20 hours in case you're skeptical! 2008-12-02

Warm Hands at Last!
This is a favorite product of mine. It makes going through the winter so much cozier. I just love them. One in each pocket, and I'm happy all day. 2008-11-25
