Editorial Review:
Invicta's Pro Diver watch for men is a classically-styled timepiece featuring a 43-millimeter, stainless-steel case, and a stainless-steel band. The watch also features a black bezel with unidirectional movement and a black dial showcasing luminescent hourly indices, a date-keeping function and luminescent hands. This exquisite timepiece combines ruggedness and elegance to make it the perfect watch for work or play.

Overall, it is comfortable and attractive for daily wear. My only complaint is the clasp: when using the last couple of adjustment holes (in the middle of clasp, not the ones where the blades attach -- you'll see what I mean), the bracelet links don't seat quite flush against the blades. The only solution seems to be to remove an extra link and use only the first two adjustment holes.
Notes: There are many variants of the Invictal Pro Diver. For clarity, this particular model -- number 5017 -- has a Swiss quartz movement, not an automatic (mechanical) one. So, the watch is identical to the Amazon photo above except that the dial reads "QUARTZ" underneath the manta ray logo, not "AUTOMATIC" as pictured. As with most quartz watches, the second-hand clicks once per second (with some visible shudder). Precision is also typical for inexpensive quartz movements -- mine gains about 1 second per week.
Last, I was surprised that the crown does not screw down; rather, it still rotates freely when in the closed position. So far, this doesn't seem to have affected its water resistance, but I've only had it a few inches under water at a time.

Not a Swiss Movement - Caveat Emptor!
Open it up. It is not a Swiss movement. It is "Swiss Parts." That means some of the parts are Swiss in origin, and the movement is assembled in Asia. Not bad for the price, but an outright lie when it says "Swiss Movement." 2008-10-22

Great watch for the money
It looks like a Rolex Submariner and I get a lot of compliments on it. I have a dozen other watches yet I find this is the one everybody notices. It is a 43 MM diameter version of their automatic watch but with a quartz movement. I have a small wrist but the watch looks good on me and the band goes all the way down to a 6 inch wrist. Construction seems to be good and it is very heavy. The only complaint is the polished center section of the band scratches very easily. I don't think I would use it to dive with but I have other watches I use for that. I like it so much I bought 3 more for Christmas presents. 2008-09-27

Great little copycat at surprising price
I ran across this watch at Costco recently (where it was selling for even less!) and picked it up on a whim. In style, it is indeed a shameless copy of the Rolex Submariner, right down to the Benz-logo hour hand and triangle-circle-rectangle luminescent markers. To their credit, though, Invicta has at least produced a nice rugged steel case and bracelet that feel substantial and fit together properly (snugly, with "tight" links).

Great Watch, Super Price
This is a great watch, I like it very much, it has the look, it is well made, and high quality, This model looks almost identical to a Rolex Submariner; The stainless steel silver and black face combination is very sharp and will never go out of style, the price is super too, I got it with Amazon free shipping, I am ready to buy more for the Christmas. 2008-09-09
