JanSport Air Odyssey II Backpack (Thai Redpepper)

I own several packs. This is by far the best and most flexible pack I ever owned. Why? I keep all my emergency equipment (knife, flashlight, first aid,fire starter, food etc) along with change of clothes and gym needs. When hiking, I simply extract the non-essential items and then fill up the water bladder. I keep the total weight of the pack around 20lbs. All compartments are spacious and well thought out. Well constructed and contours my torso perfectly. You can easily fit a laptop in this pack. I use it for the trail, gym, city and potential emergency search and rescue situations. Best pack for the money, Jansport knows what they are doing.

I choosed to have it delivered in Canada, with normal shipping, finnaly Amazon charged me for UPS delivery 31 $ and custom taxes 41$, so at the end I paid double price for one item!

Ho in the worl you pay 41$ custom tax for a 76$ item.

This is a great backpack. The only problem is that I wanted the exact packpack in the picture. The backpack I received doesn't exactly match. the blue is lighter and a different shade in real life. Also the straps aren't blue like the picture - they're gray. Overall, good backpack.

My backpack goes everywhere I go. My life requires me to carry so many things as I do research (I carry my 17" laptop with ease in this bag), I go to the gym (need to carry my gym stuff), and often carry a couple of meals with me. I also am a bit of a gadget freak so I have those to carry as well. To top it off, I usually get around by motorcycle so I need a comfy and secure fit. Because there are SO MANY COMPARTMENTS in this bag everything has its place and I don't need to fumble looking for smaller objects. I also travel internationally frequently... this is the best bag I have owned for functionality, and Jansport quality will hopefully make it last me a long time.

I love this backpack! It's very durable, very spacious, very comfortable (thanks to the gel padded shoulder straps), and it looks great too! I love the fact that you can tuck the waist-belt away when you don't need it - what a smart design! The pocket on the top is very handy for quick access items (I keep a small pocket camera in there) and the main organizer compartment has plenty of smaller inner pockets for things like wallets, cell phones, keys, and all those other important smaller items. The main storage compartments are huge and hold a ton of stuff! Just an excellent all-around backpack that comes with a lifetime warranty to boot! Highly recommended!
