These do not cure anything, but do help to temporarily lessen the pain. I suffer from runners knee in both knees, these straps will keep me going for several hours. But once you take them off you are going to want to ice immediately because you will pay for those few pain free hours. They are better then a bulky petalla brace when trying to go for a run or hike, and seem to be just as effective.

I've had knee pain from running on and off for a few years. I finally ordered the "Original PatStrap," which was a terrible product and a waste of money. Still seeking a solution, I found this product. The reviews were spectacular and the product was inexpensive, so I thought why not give it a whirl. This product really has changed my life. It's not a cure for Runner's Knee , but it eliminates my knee pain when running, and I no longer experience pain after I run. (I run 25+ miles per week on pavement.) I highly recommend this product!

I ordered this for my husband who has bad knees because he felt like he needed some pressure on the knee to help him when climbing ladders while working, it seems to help and we are happy with it.

Helped out a ton... was feeling pain but while using this knee strap, I felt none! Just make sure to ice your knee after your run!
