Editorial Review:
Cruise down your favorite snow hills in style with the Pelican Space Snow scooter. The scooter offers a snowboard-style base, but ups the ante with a hinged handle that gives you extra control. Think of it as a cross between a snowboard and a Razor. The non-skid foot pads, meanwhile, give you plenty of extra traction during a run. The snow scooter--which includes colorful in-mold graphics--offers a capacity of 110 pounds and measures 37.25 inches long. The board is suitable for ages 6 and older.

Great Fun, But NOT a Real Snowboard
I think the above reviewer may have had too-high expectations for the Space Scooter. We've been using it in the backyard since Christmas, and my kids LOVE it. My wife and I can even use it, and it's possible to carve real turns with the Space Scooter. SO, if you're looking for something to take to Lake Tahoe, buy something better. But for fun on the neighborhood sledding hill, this thing rules. 2008-12-31

Hawaii Snow!
I wish I had good things to say because the idea is fabulous. Unfortunately, as least on the snow on the top of Mauna Kea on the Big Island of Hawaii AND at Heavenly at Lake Tahoe the kids all told me it was too tough to control. All pain, no fun.... Aloha! 2008-05-21
