So far, there hasn't been any problems with the scooter. I went back and forth about which scooter to get him because he's on the small side, but he does well with it, and it should last him a long time because of the bigger weight limit.

Razor electric scooter
Lots of fun - just what he wanted. Works as expected and seems really sturdy (it's pretty heavy!).

Fun scooter
My son received this scooter for his 11th birthday, and loves it. He hasn't gotten to ride it for very long stretches at a time since it's winter, but he can't wait to ride it for as long as possible right now.

great buy
We purchased this scooter as birthday gift for a 12 year old boy. It is fast, sturdy and has great run time. He has a giant grin on his face each time that he rides it. We were initially uncertain about how much he would use it, but he's on it every dry day. Concerned about exercise? While one boy rides, the others chase him up the street and then they swap places. There's still plenty of running around going on... and they're outside. 2008-11-19

Has a Kick to it!!
I love Razor's custumer service, they shipped me a great performing scooter for no cost because of a past recall. When I got the scooter I was impressed with it. I bought the same scooter 4 years ago and it broke but Razor's quailty went up,Great work. After opening up the package Razor even lets the customer use the scooter right away. The accleration speed and battery life greatly improved. Thank you Razor!! 2008-07-17

good but not great
The scooter is good, works fine, good battery life and stable but with someone even close to the rated load it has inadequate clearance between the ground and the motor. I got this one for my wife the 100 for my child (she loves it) and the 300 for me. Just driving around the neighborhood and hitting little dips in the road on the 200 will cause the motor to hit the street very hard. The 100 has a solid wheel so even though the clearance is low it does not suffer the same fate. If you are going to get a bigger scooter than the 100 then go for the 300, the clearance issue is much improved for that model. 2008-07-09
