Tex's book is technical, but if you want to understand basketball, really understand it as the master sees it, then this book is essential. It breaks down his seven principles of sound basketball. This is Coach Winter's updated version of the previously acclaimed basketball coaching bible on the Seven Principles of Sound Offense(originally six)known as the Triple Post Offense aka Triangle Offense or Chicago Side-Line Triangle . This detailed instructional coaching book first written in 1962 has recently been modified to apply some of the lessons learned about coaching today's superstar athletes. In the late 1950s and early 60s, athletes were becoming increasingly taller, stronger, faster and more skilled in the art of roundball.
