I do give my son an age handicap advantage by letting him look at all the cards at once and I let dd look at 3 at a time, while I can only look at one at a time. My youngest understands the rules completely, but it's a critical thinking game and I have over 20 years on him so it's only fair to give the younger ones a bit more of a fair playing field. You could also subtlely give the younger players less cards when dealing them out to level the playing field.
Basically you have x number of cards depending on the number of players (up to 4 players) and you have to get to each card by pushing tiles around the board to open up the maze paths. The rules are pretty simple, but the game can get complex depending on which object you are trying to get to because some pieces on the board move and some don't, so the ones that move are much harder to get to. However, this is one of my 6-yr-old's favourite games!
The only drawbacks I could see are: 1) the game has a lot of pieces that could be easy to lose if you aren't careful, but my kids know to take care of their games and put all pieces away when they are done; 2) sometimes the pieces don't push easily if they aren't lined up properly - it takes 2 seconds to fix, but it could be a potential frustration.

Excellent Game
Excellent game for young and old (even if you need to work as "partners" with the youngest). Move, get to your secret figures, and then reach home first...sounds easy, but the path you take will always change. We bought this years ago for our daughter and we all still love to play it today...almost 20 years later! 2009-01-06

so much potential
This is a great concept and fun to play. Beware that the instructions are poorly written/translated, so my family ended up interpreting our own way to play. Another comment is that the cardboard game card pieces do not stay in place on the slippery game board very well, which is annoying since the game involves constantly pushing and moving rows of cards. It would be so much better if they could add some ridges or tracks ( like in Blokus, for example) to keep the cards/pieces in place. For the high price of this game, you would think this could be done. Five stars for concept, two stars for executuion. And I love games. 2009-01-01

Great game!
This is often the game my kids pick when they want to play a family board game. My son is 6 and dd is 9 and both are able to understand the game and enjoy figuring out how to get to the objects on their cards, or just teaming up to stop mom from winning :)

Good game
I bought this for my 7 year old son. We've played sereral times since he's gotten it. It is a challenge for both of us. I love it because it's not an easy mindless game. It's a fantastic change from xbox 360!! 2008-12-28

Creative Fun
This game is for all ages and you don't need anything but imagination and the ability to problem solve and look ahead. It is a maze of fantastic fun and each time you play it is never the same. 2008-12-12
