Good Paddle. Shipping Price on Amazon is WRONG!!!

I just got this paddle in the mail, and it looks like a pretty nice paddle. It went together well and seems pretty light.

One thing I really wanted to mention is that for some reason Amazon is showing the shipping as being $86.95. That's a typo. The actual shipping through the site is only $6.95. I got two of them shipped to me for that price.

Terrific paddle, terrific price!

I've tried a number of paddles that are many times more expensive than this Seasense paddle. I much prefer the Seasense. Many paddles give me blisters due to their wider diameter and lack of grips. These have very comfortable grips and a narrower shaft. They are the lightest weight metal shaft paddles around. The short 84" paddle is great! If you have a concern about the short length of the 84" paddle (213.4 cm,) you can purchase the long 96" paddle as well as the 84" paddle, and put one half of the 96" together with one half of the 84" and just move the grip down on one side of each paddle. You can create two paddles of 90" or 228.6 cm. I've tried this and it works perfectly. I highly recommend these paddles - they definitely are the best deal out there and are very comfortable and durable.

Check the shipping charge before you buy!

Yup, I just about pulled the trigger and purchased this item until I noticed the $86.95 shipping charge. That's EIGHTY-SIX DOLLARS AND NINETY FIVE CENTS. Extreme typo or "E-bay style" ripoff charge? You make the call!

Great paddle for the price!

The paddles are sturdy and very lightweight. One of the best places in my area often has trees in the water, and the paddle is sturdy enough to push off the trees without worrying about the paddle breaking or bending. I use them with Sevylor Inflatable Tahiti Classic Canoe, and I am very pleased after 5 outings.
