Customer Reviews:
Great Intro to Cartoon Series
While I may be a little old for this movie (I'm well over 40) I love the cartoon series and this provided me with some great back story. If you are a fan of the series, this is a must watch.

A treat for the eyes
Lots of fun! Well written, great voice acting, in some repsects superior the prequel films.

I hope Lucas Arts continues down this path with more animated movies of this caliber.

Give it a break!
I'm tired of peoples lucas bashing. It's a great movie. I grew up with the original star wars trilogy on VHS. I was a fan at a very young age. I collected the card games, the action figures etc.I, like many were disapointed by the prequals. Look past the special effects that despite don't look "real". Do most special effects actually look "real". The stories are great. This movie is a perfect example of how star wars is not supposed to be about special effects. Thisis just a 3d cartoon. Its all just great story telling with great characters following a serial matine style. What do you want? Do you want them to quit telling Star Wars stories because there not as good as the original. You had your star wars as a kid now let the young ones of today have their star wars. If you really want Star Wars to survive forever it needs fans, and the original fans aren't going to live forever.Didn't mean to ramble but if you're wondering if you should buy this I'd say rent it first. HAN SHOT FIRST(dont change the Solo)

Worst. Star Wars. Ever.
Voice over? VOICE OVER? Since when does a Star Wars movie start with a poorly read voice over? What happened to the opening scroll? That is just the begining of a movie riven with poor voice acting, poor dialogue, a shotgun pattern of plot holes and clunky animations. The lightsaber battles are underwhelming. The story overall does nothing to move the Clone Wars story forward. Terrible.

The DVD transfer is excellent as is the sound quality. Its a shame the movie is so bad.
