Not the epiphone emperor....

While doodlebops DOES make some solid instruments, they do have some flaws.

a) made of plastic --> plastic does not resonate as well as spruce.
b) plastic strings --> doodlebop has permanent plastic strings, leaving no room for customization

Great for Doodlebops fans!

My 2 year old son loves and I mean LOVES the Doodlebops so I didn't hesitate when I saw this product. My son loves this guitar, he's had it for months and it's still in great condition. I'm afraid I'm going to have to buy Moe's drums next since he's a bigger fan of Moe than Roony...lol

Christmas gift

This is a really great toy for my grand son.....he has really enjoyed playing with it and pretending to be part of the Doodlebops..It seems to be of good quality. I have given it a 4 star on the educational value for the fact it is related to pretending and interest in music.

To complicated

Too many buttons. The TV instructions are poor at best. You could hardly make out the colors of the buttons on TV. This guitar is not for kids. Not a good product.

Great Fun!

My 3 year old son loved this guitar. At my wedding reception he had so much fun "playing" his guitar to the music. It was a blast and a great buy. Great shipping too. The guitar only plays Doodlebops music which can get a little boring...but overall it is fun.
