Gotta Have It!
When I got this for Christmas I almost fainted. This was my number 1 item. It took me over an hour to get it in car mode (because some of the joints weren't locked in properly when I tried). I saw a video of how to transform it to both modes on a video on Hasbro's website when it first came out. I like the fact that when you turn him on and you let him stand he will say "hello?" as if nobody was there then he'll say "anybody there?" then he'll go "hel-lo?". He is very cool but quite heavy and kinda hard to stand up once you get him into robot mode. I usually stand this guy up on my nightstand next to my clock and I sometimes imagine I'm talking to the guy (so what a 13 year old can't have an imagination?). So I highly recomend this thing to ANY Transformers fan.

Disappointed Overpriced Transformers
With the high price tag, I expected more than what I got.
1. The doors needed to be removed and snaped back into different locations in order to transform. What am I playing LEGOs?!
2. Barely pose-able. Because of the electronic movements of the head and arms, you can't pose its head and arms at all.
3. In the car mode, there is no interior??!

Not too long ago, there was a series of toy transformers which transforms from the real cars, like Mustang, Dodge Viper, WRX, RX8....and so on. Those prices are ~$20, and they transform better than this giant bumblebee.

This was a replacement Bumblebee. Our first one broke. My boys love this toy and it looks pretty neat.

Ultimate bumblebee not so ultimate
My son wanted this item for his 6th b'day, so of course we bought it. It was late and when we finally got it, I was so disappointed!!! The advertising for this figure made it look so easy to transform. It was NOT easy, I had to wait until my husband, who is an engineer, to get home to help me transform it, and he couldn't even do it. This toy is surely not for young children and not worth the money. We have returned this item and I will not purchase another one until my son is much older. I do not know how single mom's would ever figure out how to help their sons work this toy. The toy looks nice and would be a good gift for an older boy or man who collects transformers.
