Mattel Matchbox Mega Rig Shark Adventure

This is a must have for 5-7 year old boys. My son loves all of it and plays with it in the tub and out.

Gift for a 4 yr old and once he figured out how you could change the ships around he can't get enough of this toy. Required parents help to fit them together and at times he still does but he kept the box and wants to have it look like all the creations on the box. Toy seemed a little expensive but there is a lot to it. Very creative, adventureous play time with it! He played with it once in the swimming pool and that was fun but he prefers it inside. There are screws on the bottom of the pieces and wonder if they would rust over time with lots of water use. Also purchased the same brand fire truck, he prefers the shark attacker.

I got this for my 6 year old nephew. He just loved it. Yes, I did have to take almost 2 hours to put it together on Christmas Day, but it was worth it. We had so much fun playing with it! Great for any little boy or girl that loves Pirates!

My son recieved this for Christmas and five months later it is still a staple at bathtime. There are so many configurations that it is easy to create new "stories" each time we play. Not to mention it is a great motivator for tub time.

My son loves this toy. Every day he finds a new feature. It reconfigures in so many different ways and he was able to figure them out himself. I often find the Matchbox toys (other than diecast cars) cheaply made, falling apart easily leaving us all frustrated. I have found this ship to exceed my expectations. It has spent days on end in the bath tub, put together as one large ship, taken apart to smaller ships and back again. Some of the plastic parts are thin, but so far it has held up well without falling apart. Of all the toys that my son has, this one gets the most use.
