Editorial Review:
  • Watch the crowds react to your performance - Goals and possession result in rousing chanting as momentum builds for your team but dips to a frustrated murmur if you're struggling
  • Represent your club online against your rivals throughout the season in the F.A. Premier League, Bundesliga, French League or Mexican 1st Division
  • Players jostle and collide realistically while trying to win balls; New ball physics accurately recreate bouncing, skidding and topspin
  • Features 27 leagues from 20 nations. Over 510 teams are accurately represented with correct kits and badges

FIFA Soccer 07 gives you the power to shape your club's destiny. Relish every scintillating victory over bitter rivals and fume through every gut-wrenching poor performance at home. Savor the spine-tingling stadium atmosphere, home and away, as your team battles their way up the league table. Listen as your supporters chant your players' names and bellow all the rousing club songs through rain and shine. From the first whistle of the season to heartbreak of cup failure, play your games according to the real-world schedule. Take to the Pitch for the glory of your club.

One of my favorites
This one of the better games for the PSP in my opinion. It is well done with the controls being pretty logical and easy to master. The game play is smooth and fast and the fun factor is pretty high. I was surprised at how well it was done for a portable. The graphics are well done and it is fairly easy to know where you are on the playing field. This is probably the game I play most when sitting in a waiting room or traveling.

It freezes but it's worth it
Pros. Easy to play, cool side games, the training option is great, is very enjoyable.
Cons. It freezes when you're changing too many options at the same time, some times the image goes black durin the game (rarely), you can play with less of 16 players, is not a big challenge.

Great introduction, mediocre continuation to the FIFA line.
If this is your first taste of EA's FIFA line of games, then you will be in for a treat. If you are a fan, this review is for you.

In Manager Mode you can train your player in cool, interactive ways, but your training time is limited, and once you have used it up you cannot gain it back. This is a bitter sweet improvement on previous FIFA Manager Modes.

The gameplay is a step down. The direction stick for the PSP is terrible for fluid motion, making navigating your players difficult, and aiming your shots nearly impossible. The double-team option is much less effective than last year. When shooting a penalty kick you can only aim left or right not up or down. When you are near the goal you are given the option of pressing L for a "finesse shot". And for anyone who wishes to score a goal this is a silly option (because of the issue with aiming). And if you press L after you shoot you get a lob shot. This makes for many unexpected and very frustrating lop shots. The passing is random at best. In pinch situations I often find myself wondering who I'm going to get the ball passed towards. Even the "direct" passes go to space, which is a blessing and a curse, especially in those "rare" situaton when you want a direct pass to go directly to the intended receiever. And the "through ball" often sails past the intended target, moving him out of position. As for the AI, my only complaint is that the game often appears to have its "mind made up" way too early. When the AI steal the ball from you a lot of the time it appears as though they are sliding you away from ball, or just old fashioned kicking "through" your legs.

Many will be pleased with the game. But people like me who just wanted a verson of FIFA to play on their PSP, I think you will find yourself frustrated often. Buy the game anyway, just consider yourself warned.

Great PSP game!
This game surely uses most of the PSP's graphic capabilities. It is beautiful and I have alot of fun playing it. The Manager's mode is simple enough to be fun also and the other game modes are suprisingly fun too. The 2 things I have found that makes me want to throw my PSP across the room is that I have had the game crash twice in very critical moments of game play and the computer always seems to get the upperhand and I could swear it cheats?! I guess it could be me imagining things too. I would suggest this game to anyone.

VERY FUN AND ADDICTIVE
HEY THERE EVERYONE, IF U ARE THINKING TWICE OF GETTING THIS GAME U SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURE SELF. THERES NO NEED TO THINK TWICE FOR THIS GAME, THIS GAME IS THE BOMB AND VERY ADDICTIVE TO PLAY ESPECIALLY WHEN U PLAY IT ON LINE WITH OTHER GAMERS. I STARTED PLAYING THIS GAME ON LINE AND HAD SOME GOOD CONFRONTATIONS WITH OTHER GAMERS WHO I HAVE NO IDEA WHERE THEY ARE, THEY COULD BE RIGHT DOWN THE BLOCK FROM WHERE I LIVE OR THEY CAN BE AS FAR AS LONDON OR WHO KNOWS. THE GAME FEATURES ARE GREAT WITH A EXTREMELY LARGE AMOUNT OF TEAMS FROM DIFFERENT AREAS. 500 PLUS TEAMS IS MORE THAN ENOUGH AND U WILL SPEND HOURS TRYING TO GET EVERY TROPHY. GET THIS GAME AND U WILL GET YOUR MONEYS WORTH.
