Yves Saint Laurent Luxurious Mascara for a False Lash Effect 1 Black Noir

This is by far my favorite mascara. The problem....it only lasts a couple weeks. After about four weeks the wand gets dried up and clumpy, making it impossible to apply. If it was cheaper I would continue to use it, but, I can't seem to justify $25 on mascara every month!

I have tried practically every brand of mascara on the market and always come back to this one.

I got this mascara at Nordstrom the other day. I got it in black and in burgandy. This mascara is amazing! Once its on it STAYS on and you don't need that much to get a dramatic effect. It doesn't flake like Dior Blackout (that was so disappointing).

I would recommend to those that say it clumps or dries quickly, to make sure that you close the tube until it "clicks" to make sure that you have it totally closed. Also, the directions recommend that you wipe the brush with a dry tissue once a week....

I've tried every mascara out there including benefit bad gal and diorshow that were sephora best sellers. I used to absolutely love diorshow but after reading the olsen twins, kardiashian sisters and a bunch of other celebs wear this I decided to try it. This gives you all of the volume and length but without the little bit of clumping you got from diorshow. The only problem with this is that after about 4 weeks my brush got all clumpy and the mascara no longer came on as smooth. I thought it may just be that one tube but I bought another and it did the same thing. Regardless it's still worth it even if I have to buy another tube every month.

The first time I had the opportunity to wear this was at my sister's wedding in Greece where her make up person also applied my make up. I was so impressed with how I looked that I tracked her down to find out what she had used. Well, you guessed it. It was Yves Saint Laurent Luxurious Mascara for a False Lash Effect (Faux Cils)!

I have been converted ever since. I simply cannot use another mascara but this one. I live in the US therefore I would have someone send it to me direct from Europe when I needed more. Now that it is for sale on Amazon, I will buy it here! Yes, it is pricey, but it is well worth the results you will get!

As to the previous comment about it being clumpy; this happens when your particular tube has been sitting around too long. You can remedy this by simply dripping 4-5 drops of water onto the brush and re-inserting back into the tube. A few stroke back and forth in the tube and Voilà! your brush will no longer be "clumpy"!
